Dr Stephanie Harrison

Veterinarian and founder of Valley Way Veterinary Clinic

Dr. Stephanie Harrison is a small animal veterinarian with over 10 years of experience—and a genuine love for all things furry. Originally from South Africa, she brings a wealth of knowledge, a calm approach, and a big heart to every consult.

At home, Stephanie has a busy (and very loved!) human and animal family. She shares life with her husband Oliver, the behind-the-scenes co-founder of Valley Way Veterinary Clinic, and their two children. Together, they also care for two very different furry companions: Odey, a sweet 14-year-old Yorkshire Terrier who enjoys the slower pace of life, and Bella, a 5-year-old poodle who is full of beans and always ready for action.

Living with both a senior pet and a high-energy companion gives Stephanie a real appreciation for the different needs pets have at every stage of life.

Stephanie is passionate about creating a relaxed, friendly environment where pets feel safe and owners feel supported. She believes great veterinary care should be personal, approachable, and built on trust.

Meet Krystal – Veterinary Nurse

With over 10 years of experience in the veterinary industry, Krystal is a familiar, friendly face who brings warmth, compassion, and a wealth of knowledge to the Valley Way Veterinary Clinic team.

Krystal has cared for animals of all shapes and sizes throughout her career, from playful puppies and curious kittens to senior pets needing a little extra TLC. She is passionate about making every patient feel safe, comfortable, and loved during their visit, and has a natural ability to connect with both pets and their people.

One of Krystal's biggest passions is animal behaviour. She has a special interest in understanding why animals behave the way they do and using that knowledge to create positive, low-stress experiences in the clinic. Whether it's helping a nervous dog feel more confident or making a first vet visit a happy one, Krystal is always focused on keeping tails wagging.

Krystal also loves working with puppies and their families. She enjoys helping owners navigate those important early stages of development, building strong foundations through positive training, enrichment, and socialisation.

When she's not at the clinic, you'll usually find Krystal spending time with her two beloved Staffies, Sasha and Polly, who first sparked her love of canine behaviour and training.

Krystal's philosophy is simple: every animal deserves kindness, patience, and plenty of cuddles—because a little love goes a long way in veterinary care.
